Most SEOs and SEMs have come to rely on Yahoo’s linkdomain: operator to find out who links to there website considering Google’s link: operator sucks. But there’s a problem with Yahoo now. I tried a simple linkdomain: command for an AIM smileys site (URL: http://www.aim-smileys.net) and got links from various sites.

But … among the various sites linking back were pages with links to other sites with very similar domain names, such as http://www.aim-smileys.com … ouch! Come on Yahoo, get it together over there! Google are having a hard time, get your act together and start to win back some marketshare. Not that fixing your slightly flaky linkdomain: operator would matter much to average Joe.
