A while back I was kindly contact by Arieanna about a new cross-platform version of Qumana that they have been developing. I set up the beta version of Qumana to post to BoydCreative and it has been working fine.
- Easy posting to my WordPress blog.
- Auto-discovery worked first time.
- Managing multiple blogs is easy and convenient.
- Having a split pane between WYSIWYG and source code is great.
- Inserting ads into posts is easy and can be customized to your needs.
There are a few things that I’d like to see tweaked:
- An option to have text wrapped in the WYSIWYG mode.
- Ability to customize the navigation bar.
- In source view, shortcuts (like Apple-C / Apple-V) currently do not work.
So here are a few screenshots from the Mac OS X version of Qumana on my Mac mini running Mac OS X 10.4.3.

Hi Andy,
Thanks for such a fast trial of the new Qumana. You’re officially our first review. Very exciting.
I am so happy you like it and that you don’t have demands we don’t plan to meet. As you know, I’ll be sending you updated versions, so watch out!
