After posting about submitting your site to directories, I have come up with a list of directories that are basically better than the rest. Here they are in alphabetical order.
- BOTW - clean interface for paid only listings.
- DMOZ - added importance because of Google directory? (Questionable)
- GoGuides - ex Go editors editing an expansive directory.
- JoeAnt - sign up as an editor and add your site for free.
- Skaffe - built on the same database as GoGuides.
- Web Beacon - friendly, high quality directory.
